At the age of five I delivered accurate messages from my deceased grandfather to my grandmother.
When I asked her how and why I was able to see and communicate with people that were invisible she replied: “You might have second sight. Some people are born with it.” That was the extent of her explanation.
My tea leaf reading grandmother was amazing, with awareness ahead of her time back in the 1950’s. She could call birds to the window sill with her mind. I watched her do this with wide eyed attention at the kitchen table every chance I got.
(It is humorous and most likely no accident, that as I write this a Stellar Jay is hopping through the snow bank to my door way gazing intently at me through the window, his head cocked to the side!)
My grandmother wore glasses to correct her ‘sight’. I knew about far sighted and near sighted, too. I assumed second sighted was somewhere between near and far sighted!
Decades would pass, and the world was to experience tumultuous changes before I was to recall her explanation and later understand the meaning of her words.
I was a nurse for twenty years. I applied my “second sight” ability in my work by assisting my patients to move through impending death transitions. I knew from personal experience that life goes on after death. My reassurance carried weight and imparted peace to many.
There is no doubt that we are living in evolutionary times. Now more than ever a connection to Source is so very important.
This I know without a doubt, we are all born with an inner voice capable of directing us safely back home as we travel the road of life. (Not just we psychic types have such a voice!)
